Aren't we were supposed bumping the new God Forgives, I Don't album from Rick Ross? Back in January, Ross made an appearance on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club to announce the title of his fifth official studio album. By the fall, he gave us an official release date for the project: December 13. And in early October, he released a pair of singles from the album, "You The Boss," featuring Nicki Minaj, and "I Love My Bitches," produced by Just Blaze. So we were understandably excited to hear that it sounded like the Miami MC would really be releasing an album full of new music before the end of the year.
But then, a funny thing called "life" happened and threw the entire project off course, which is why we're not sitting here bumping GFID right now. In mid-October, Ross suffered two seizures on the same day aboard two separate airplanes while flying to a show in Memphis. As a result, Ross decided to put his career—and GFID—on the back-burner for a couple of months while he got his life back in order. So we don't expect to hear GFID until at least the beginning of 2012—and possibly longer if the Bawse wants to set it up properly by releasing another single or two before it drops. Gotta take better care of yaself Ricky !!!!!
