Eminem’s official follow-up to The Marshall Mathers LP has been received with both positive and negative critiques. It seems like everyone I ask gives me a different answer. “It’s one of his best!” will be immediately followed by “This is the worst CD I have ever heard.” I personally enjoy a few cuts, but overall… part two holds absolutely zero weight when compared to the original classic.
Whatever side you may reside on, the fact is.. Eminem is still very much relevant and has proven that with his recent winning streak on the charts (MMLP2 debuted at #1and all of his previous albums charted as well).
Sitting down with MTV News, Em breaks down the concept of the album’s intro “Bad Guy.” Explaining that he wanted to immediately showcase the ties between the two albums.
