DJ Rhemattic & J.Rawls are Rawlsmatic. They dropped a vintage Hip Hop and it feel what I'm saying this rare in the current climate. Hey Everyone,
First of all, I hope all of you & your loved ones are staying safe & healthy during this pandemic. Thank god that we have technology for us to keep in touch with people outside of our homes.
My brother & talented producer J-Rawls (Lone Catalysts, Liquid Crystal Project, Black Star) & myself have been working on a joint producer album for quite some time. Basically, it's almost in the same vein as Jaylib (J Dilla & Madlib) and Gangrene (Alchemist & OhNo), where Rawls & myself are sharing production duties minus us rapping...LOL! The album is called "Role Reversal" & our group name is "Rawlsmatic".
Last week, J played an unreleased track of the same name as the album title on one of his IG Live mix and it features the legendary MC, Craig G of the Juice Crew fame & the response that he received for the track was really positive; to say the least, we were presently surprised. Because of the response, we decided to mix the song down & officially release the song. This also made us revisit our project & really finish the album; hopefully we'll finish it during the pandemic quarantine & have it released in the summer (I'm also finishing up the new Visionaries album & J is finishing up his other projects at the same time as well).
